How will the ever-changing landscape of cloud software, artificial intelligence and modern collaboration impact our file plans? In this session we’ll look at how file plans have evolved and are continuing to evolve to meet the needs of business while allowing us to fulfill out requirements around compliance.

In this talk we’ll look at some the of history and theory and types of file plans, how our file plans have changed over time, some of the necessary practical and pragmatic changes to files plans required for digital record and how our file plans will need to further evolve to meet the needs of cloud software, artificial intelligence, and modern collaboration solutions.

Presenter

Michael Schweitzer is the founder of Gravity Union with deep experience in Office 365 and Collabware CLM. He has assisted numerous customers in not only getting the most out of Office 365, SharePoint, and Collabware CLM, but has also helped them to reach their organizational information management goals with astounding results. He was awarded the first Collabware MVP designation, is the creator of the “Seven Pillars of ECM” philosophy, is a former Microsoft Virtual Technology Specialist (VTS) and a finalist for the Information Governance Expert of the year 2017. Michael has a Degree in Computer Systems Technology and is a sessional instructor at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Michael is also on the board of the Vancouver Office 365 user group.

Michael has a long history of delivering talks at technology and information management conferences across North America, including national and regional ARMA conferences. He is recognized as a knowledgeable and dynamic speaker.
