Business Development Coordinator

Gravity Union is looking for our newest Business Development Coordinator! This is a full-time (40 hours/week), permanent position. This position is based onsite at our office in the heart of downtown Vancouver.

About the opportunity

We’re looking for our newest Business Development Coordinator to join our growing Sales team. This role is responsible for supporting our team throughout all stages of the sales process, where you’ll be responsible for effectively representing Gravity Union and our services in all client interactions. The expected base salary range for this position is $55,000 - $62,000, but remains flexible depending on the candidate’s unique skills and experience. The determination of a candidate’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits program.

As a Business Development Coordinator, your day-to-day includes:  

  • Maintaining and updating our CRM and responding to client inquiries

  • Sourcing and following up on incoming leads

  • Supporting lead generation and sales initiatives that grow our pipeline

  • Collaborating closely with Account Managers throughout the Sales lifecycle

  • Representing Gravity Union professionally in client interactions and at industry events

  • Supporting and coordinating RFPs, SOWs, and proposal submissions

  • Developing and curating proposal content while coordinating technical input from consultants

  • Preparing client presentations, pricing documentation, and sales reports

  • Maintaining proposal templates, document libraries, and sales resources

  • Understanding Gravity Union’s services, competitive advantages, and the Microsoft ecosystem

  • Keeping accurate sales documentation and reporting

  • Contributing to internal initiatives and our collaborative team culture

Are you the one?

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or something similar (or equivalent meaningful experience)

  • 1+ year of experience in business development, sales coordination, proposal coordination, client success, account management support, or a similar professional services environment

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); experience with SharePoint and CRM systems such as Microsoft dynamics preferred but not necessary

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills - you love building relationships

  • Growth mindset

  • You’re adaptable and able to go with the flow when things change

  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision

  • You naturally keep things organized and follow through on commitments

  • You’re a curious person that loves to learn

  • You know how to have fun!

Icing on the cake

  • Bilingual in English and French

  • Working knowledge or experience within technical consulting or IT industries

  • Sales experience with Microsoft or other ecosystems

  • Experience supporting proposals, RFPs, RFIs, SOWs, or proposal development

  • CRM administration (Dynamics, Salesforce, etc.)

  • Grant writing or funding applications

  • MS-900: Fundamentals certificate or additional Microsoft certifications
