Content Marketing Manager

Full-time, Vancouver

Gravity Union is looking for our newest Content Marketing Manager! This is a full-time (40 hours/week), permanent position. This position is based onsite at our office in the heart of downtown Vancouver.

About the opportunity 

At Gravity Union, we empower organizations to take control of their critical information with people-focused solutions. We’re looking for our newest Content Marketing Manager to creating compelling content and support marketing strategy in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll help to translate complex technical problems and project successes, team expertise, and client partnerships into narratives that inspire trust.

This role is responsible for the execution of our content marketing activities to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and support sales enablement and contribute your insights. You’ll be joining a small but mighty Marketing team and working closely with Sales, Delivery, and People & Culture departments to generate compelling written, visual and digital assets to bring visibility to our brand and presence as a trusted advisor within our domain.

The expected base salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000, but remains flexible depending on the candidate’s unique skills and experience. The determination of an candidate’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. As a Content Marketing Manager, your day-to-day includes:  

  • Writing and editing impactful content such as blog posts, newsletters, case studies, social media updates, and internal/external presentations

  • Managing marketing channels and assisting with campaigns, webinars and events

  • Developing high-quality, on brand graphics, photos and videos for campaigns, website and social media

  • Refreshing and maintaining website content, visuals and layouts

  • Collaborating with SMEs to conduct interviews and turn technical and project insights into clear, engaging content to meet the right audience

  • Tracking content and campaign performance, providing insights to optimize engagement and increase growth

  • Responding to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs and proposals, ensuring consistent branding, messaging and accuracy

  • Emphasizing the Gravity Union voice by connecting with folks in our domain to highlight our expertise and why it matters

  • Presenting content ideas and campaigns effectively while articulating the strategic thinking behind them to vested parties or team members

  • Taking ownership of content cadence

  • Supporting internal organization initiatives

  • Other duties as assigned

Are you the one?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English Literature, or something similar (or equivalent meaningful experience)

  • 2-4 years of Marketing, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tools (ex: social media platforms/management systems and email systems such as Mailchimp, Hootsuite, etc.)

  • Light design/video skills

  • You are a natural relationship builder, storyteller, and problem solver. You excel at identifying, engaging, and cultivating customer advocates while turning their success into stories that drive business impact.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, Powerpoint); strong familiarity with SharePoint (conceptual understanding and past usage)

  • You’re excited about providing solutions with value

  • Strong design skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar) and a keen eye for detail

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving

  • You’re adaptable and able to go with the flow when things change

  • You’re a curious person that loves to learn

  • You know how to have fun!

Icing on the cake

  • Experience with CRM systems (ex: Microsoft Dynamics) and marketing automation is strongly preferred

  • Working knowledge or experience within the technical consulting or IT industries

  • Partner marketing experience with Microsoft or other ecosystems

  • MS-900: Fundamentals certificate or additional Microsoft certifications

  • A strong portfolio of content work
