Gravity Union is excited to be on the lookout for our newest Project Coordinator to assist our team. This is a full-time (40 hours/week) permanent position, based onsite at our downtown Vancouver office.

At Gravity Union, our Project Coordinators are at the intersection between people, plans, and progress. You’ll work closely with Project Managers and our Delivery team to help plan, organize, and support the successful execution of projects. Your focus is on keeping things running smoothly, clearly, and with care, so our clients experience strong successful outcomes and a high standard of delivery. 

This role is a great fit for someone that’s looking to deepen their experience in project management and consulting delivery, with hands-on exposure and strong mentorship along the way.

The expected base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 but remains flexible depending on the candidate’s unique skills and experience. The determination of a candidate’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits program.

As a Project Coordinator, your day-to-day includes:  

  • Working closely with Project Managers and our Director of Delivery to support successful project delivery

  • Helping to define and estimate scope of work 

  • Coordinating schedules, meetings, and project activities across teams and clients

  • Preparing status updates, documentation, and reporting for key persons

  • Facilitating regular check-ins with the client and with the internal project team

  • Supporting tracking and management of project scope, schedule, budget, risks, quality, and resource gaps

  • Keeping delivery activities aligned across multiple workstreams

  • Maintaining internal databases and resources to ensure they are accurate and up to date

  • Supporting the broader project team in execution and coordination needs

  • Contributing to internal initiatives that improve how we deliver work

  • Staying curious and up to date on Microsoft 36t, SharePoint, and modern workplace tools

Are you the one?

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relevant field

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (ex: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and willingness to learn new tools as required  

  • 2-4+ years of experience in project coordination, project support, or delivery role (consulting or client-service environments are a strong asset)

  • Strong working knowledge of project tracking and collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and Outlook

  • Exposure to project tracking systems such as Microsoft Planner, Jira, and Azure DevOps

  • You have a general understanding of the technical consulting industry 

  • You love to bring people together and you know how to facilitate effective meetings 

  • You’re adaptable and able to go with the flow when things change 

  • Have strong judgement, attention to detail, and follow through

  • Confidence managing calendars, meetings, and logistics across multiple people and timezones

  • Experience supporting project documentation, status reporting, and action/RAID tracking

  • Strong written and communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for both internal team members as well as clients

  • You’re curious about technology - or at least what technology can do for people

  • You love to learn new things and learning excites you 

  • You know how to have fun! 

Yes, we do take our work seriously, but we also know how to enjoy it too.

Icing on the cake

  • Bilingual in English and French (or another language!)

  • Basic reporting or dashboarding experience (ex: Power BI or advanced excel skills)

  • Working experience with Microsoft SharePoint, preferably in a consulting environment 

  • Exposure to Enterprise Content Management and/or records management systems 

  • Previous client-facing experience

  • MS-900: Fundamentals certificate or other Microsoft certifications

  • CAPM, PMP, or other Project Management related certifications
